After completing a Master’s of Industrial Design from ENSCI in Paris, Vincent Vandenbrouck began his career at an agency, then as a freelancer for French manufacturers and institutions. In 2005, his specialization in eco-design brought him to Montreal, where he was invited to participate in a documentary series on the environment. In 2011, he founded his own studio where he continues to design spaces, furniture, and objects that touch the daily lives of Montrealers. His achievements include street furniture for the city of Montreal, transit spaces, parklets, and a shipping container building in the Old Port. Vandenbrouck’s approach is centered on ethics and a search for meaning, with the user at the heart of every project.
